Lullabies For The Sleepless is about one of those nights. One of those nights when you can't sleep, when all kinds of thoughts and sensations fly past while you're there, laying still in your bed. A sort of inner journey you have to do by yourself in the dark, before being reborn in a new light. "Each night, when i go to bed, i die. And the next morning, when i wake up, i am reborn.", said an Indian friend of the Bogieman, while they were revolting against the system in 1921. I think that's what he wanted to tell us with those songs: everyday is a chance to start again and every night, even if it's a sleepless one, is a chance to leave things behind. Or maybe this is just a random collection of lullabies written by an old tirolean Songster, who happens to have luck with symbolism. Who knows?
